Newtype magazine to cease publication in March

Newtype magazine will stop publication. This is suck quite honestly to me because i got a subscription for Christmas and my first issue recieved was this months january edition so i will end up getting 3 issues for 70 dollars. Well there is some relief for every issue left on your subscription you will get to 2 issues of the magazine PiQ which will replace Newtype and basically will release the same type of stories. Well I guess that is enough for me to get over it if PiQ turns out to have enough of the stories that i liked from Newtype. Oh i almost forgot this is just for the United States, Japanese and Korean Newtype will continued to be published

Code Geass R2 details revealed

The new season of Code Geass will be called as seen be Code Geass R2. They opened a webite that shows of some new nightmare robots and some info on the characters. Well its nothing big but to a Code Geass fan like me any little info is worth salavating over

Crackdown on scanalations

Tokyopop the leading manga publisher in the united states has released a list of all manga there manga requesting many oline manga download sites to remove there series and to remove all links that would allow you to locate these series. This action has also been taken by Digital Manga Publishing too. Who has series such as Worst and Hellsing.



This is a big hit to manga scanalations but this has all been done before as all the companies are losing a lot of money because of his scanalations. If i were the companies i would do this but as a poor high school student i cant afford to buy all these manga so i basically hate it but i am sure i will just find another place to download the manga.

Code Geass 2nd Season

Ah yes my last post of the day i have been posting non stop since i started this blog. This is by far the most interesting news of the day at least to me as it involves my favorite new series Code Geass. The 2nd season of Code Geass is set for premiere in April on Sundays at 5:00 p.m. Also the first season of Code Geass will premiere on the Adult Swim network in english dub in the spring of 2008. Big news for all you Lelouch, Suzuku, CC, and Kallen fans out there because you will be seeing plenty of them in the new year.

A list of the most sold dvds of the year in Japan were released and # 1 is the movie adaptation of the series Tales of Earthsea. A few other animes were in the top 20 My Neighbor Totoro, Code Geass, Gundam Seed, Gundam, Lupata, and Melacholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.
